The General Manager position at Delaware North is based at the prestigious Wuksachi Lodge and Lodgepole Market in Sequoia National Park, California. This role is a full-time leadership opportunity with a competitive salary range of $119,500 to $161,300 annually, plus an annual bonus plan based on both company and individual performance or an uncapped sales incentive plan tied to the specific role. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all lodging, food and beverage, and retail operations within this unique and highly sought-after national park location. This position requires a passionate leader who is committed to delivering the highest quality service experiences to guests while leading a dedicated team.
In this multifaceted role, you will be in charge of managing day-to-day operations by establishing effective staffing levels, developing and maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, local, and company regulations. Further responsibilities include overseeing safety and sanitation procedures, managing budgets and expenses, and ensuring smooth financial operations such as cash handling, inventory control, and payroll management. You will also be a critical figure in training and developing your management team and staff, fostering a positive work environment that emphasizes professional growth and client satisfaction.Moreover, Delaware North supports its General Manager with housing options and relocation assistance, making it easier to transition into this exciting opportunity in one of the most beautiful natural settings in the world. Job Requirements
- Minimum of 7-10 years of management experience in hotel operations
- Experience working in National Parks preferred
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s degree in business management or hospitality preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to communicate with various levels within the organization
- Operational financial management accountability and budgeting experience
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Maintain positive client relations while providing efficient services and quality products
- Develop and manage all vendor relationships
- Hire, train, and develop management team and ensure all team members are supported and managed effectively
- Determine and control staffing levels while maintaining guest service levels
- Make operational recommendations and establish prices for products and services within approved budget
- Establish and maintain proper safety and sanitation procedures and oversee repair and maintenance of food service equipment
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and company regulations regarding sale of alcohol, OSHA, payroll, and employment guidelines
- Verify, prepare, and submit reports and monthly projections and ensure effective systems for cash, inventory, and payroll procedures are in place
- Drive a company vehicle as needed
