The General Manager at Miguel's Jr. functions as the key leader responsible for all facets of restaurant operations from both the front and back of house. Candidates must be prepared for a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays. The position requires strong operational, financial, and leadership acumen with at least three years of management experience in a QSR environment and full profit and loss responsibility. Proficiency with computer programs including Microsoft Office is expected, as is a high school diploma or equivalent. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus but not required.

Job Duties
- Drives daily execution excellence across BOH and FOH operations to consistently deliver quality food, speed, and service
- Oversees all restaurant operations, ensuring adherence to company systems, procedures, and operational standards
- Manages financial performance including sales, labor, food cost, inventory, and controllables
- Manages third-party delivery services ensuring quality of food and guest service and implements operational improvements
- Builds a strong leadership pipeline by training, coaching, and developing AGM and Shift Supervisors
- Ensures proper onboarding, role-specific training, and ongoing skill development for team members
- Champions exceptional guest service and leads guest recovery for restaurant-level concerns
- Ensures compliance with food safety, health department, Cal/OSHA, wage and hour, and employment regulations
- Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy environment by enforcing sanitation and safety procedures
- Recruits, interviews, selects, and retains top talent and creates effective schedules aligning staffing with business needs
- Communicates daily with the Area Manager and partners with support teams for company initiative execution
- Represents the brand in the community and supports local marketing and engagement efforts
- Obtains ServSafe Certification within 30 days of hire
