Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in restaurant operations or management
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead, motivate and develop a diverse team
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations applicable to the foodservice industry
  • Proficiency with inventory management software and point-of-sale systems

  • Strong knowledge of inventory control and food safety regulations
  • Excellent leadership and team building skills

  • Familiarity with cash control and security procedures

Job Duties

  • Manages inventory costs and maintains inventory by performing daily and weekly counts
  • Places and receives inventory truck orders
  • Ensures preventative maintenance of restaurant facility and equipment is completed in accordance with company standards
  • Ensures that restaurant follows all cash control and security procedures such as safe counting and cash drawers
  • Calls guests back who have had problems or complaints
  • Motivates and directs team to exceed guest expectations with accurate, fast and friendly service in a clean facility
  • Creates action plans to improve guest metrics
  • Recruits and interviews potential employees
  • Completes orientation for new employees
  • Creates and monitors schedule and manages team onboarding process
  • Establishes a positive culture in the restaurant
  • Directs restaurant team toward a common goal while meeting KPIs
  • Ensures that restaurant upholds food safety and brand standards
