Job Requirements

  • Minimum three years of documented restaurant P&L management experience
  • five to seven years of restaurant industry experience
  • ability to read, comprehend, and communicate policies and procedures
  • food service management or culinary education preferred
  • demonstrated leadership, delegation, and issue resolution skills
  • knowledge or willingness to learn HMSHost standards
  • flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • ability to work varied and rotating shifts on-site
  • commitment to safety and health compliance
  • lawful employment eligibility

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing QSR or similar restaurants
  • demonstrated ability to manage P&L responsibilities
  • minimum three years' restaurant management with five to seven years of overall restaurant experience
  • graduation from food service management or culinary program considered a plus
  • strong team management and delegation skills
  • knowledge of HMSHost policies and operations standards or ability to learn quickly
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to manage multiple priorities and resolve issues
  • commitment to diversity and inclusion principles

Job Duties

  • Open and close the restaurant ensuring all staff follow checklists
  • manage staffing and deployment to maximize profitability
  • assign work tasks and prepare schedules
  • provide coaching and support to achieve business goals
  • interview, hire, and make staffing decisions
  • promote diversity and inclusion
  • manage onboarding and training
  • monitor financial and operational reports
  • recognize employee performance
  • champion employee engagement behaviors
  • maintain proper contact information for associates
  • ensure product availability and proper stock levels
  • oversee receiving and vendor relations
  • maintain proficiency in management systems
  • manage restaurant equipment maintenance
  • handle audit responses

  • maintain knowledge of brand standards and compliance
