Guests enjoy a variety of dining options, including a large buffet, within a vibrant and welcoming environment. The racetrack is part of Delaware North's expansive portfolio, a family-owned global hospitality leader with over 100 years of experience, dedicated to providing memorable experiences in great places.
Delaware North is currently seeking a highly skilled General Manager to lead the operations at Finger Lakes Gaming. As the senior on-site leader, the General Manager will be responsible for overall property performance, including financial results, guest experience, regulatory compliance, and team engagement. This role is ideal for a dynamic gaming or hospitality executive who thrives in fast-paced environments and demonstrates a strong commitment to operational excellence and people leadership. The position offers a competitive salary range of $168,700 to $231,900 per year, complemented by an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance or an uncapped sales incentive plan.
The General Manager will direct daily operations across gaming, racing, and non-gaming departments, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to safety, regulatory, and internal control standards. Leading a team of department leaders, this executive will cultivate a positive employee culture, enhance professional development, and foster high morale and engagement. Maintaining a keen awareness of competitive operations and implementing effective marketing strategies to achieve business objectives are central to this role. The General Manager is expected to oversee budget management, forecasting, labor optimization, and capital planning while ensuring staffing aligns with the company’s high standards. This leadership position requires a comprehensive understanding of gaming regulations, compliance requirements, and best operational practices to safeguard company assets and maintain regulatory adherence.
At Delaware North, employees' personal and professional growth is valued, with a benefits package that supports a healthy, balanced lifestyle and career advancement. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company matching, paid vacation and holidays, parental leave, tuition and certification reimbursement, and generous discounts across the company’s hotels and resorts. Joining Delaware North means becoming part of a global legacy that values diversity, equality, and opportunity, where innovative hospitality meets a rich heritage.
