Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years working in a restaurant environment showing career progression and verifiable results
- Minimum 3 years as a General Manager of a quick casual or quick serve environment
- Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, and back of house restaurant systems such as labor schedulers, inventory tracking systems, ordering
- Ability to comfortably speak, write, and comprehend English in a business setting
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Good customer service skills
- Ability to perceive and react to the needs of others
- Must be organized, flexible, and able to deal with various personalities
- Basic computer skills
- Excel knowledge preferred
Job Qualifications
- Associates degree or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Hospitality preferred
- High school degree or equivalent required
- Capable of adapting to business needs and solving problems quickly and efficiently
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and exercise sound judgment
- Ability to fluently understand profit and loss statements, cost controls, and restaurant operations
- Focus on delivering exceptional guest service experiences
- Demonstrate highly motivated, energetic, and engaging characteristics
Job Duties
- Ensure the restaurant is accountable for the successful execution of all quality operating systems
- Evaluate performance and submit wage increases for hourly team members
- Initiate disciplinary action and/or termination for hourly team members
- Review discipline issued by Assistant Manager for consistency and legal compliance
- Supervise and direct subordinate staff to assure guests are treated promptly and courteously
- Ensure products are prepared as specified in both quality and quantity
- Maintain restaurant cleanliness and adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
- Recruit, hire, orient, and train Assistant Managers, Shift/Team Leaders, and hourly team members
- Manage staffing levels through effective planning in compliance with company policies and laws
- Ensure proper execution of all accounting functions and comply with internal audit guidelines
- Achieve budgeted sales and EBITDA restaurant objectives
- Conduct performance evaluations and annual reviews for all managers and staff
- Execute company marketing programs and ensure procedure communication
- Perform regular administrative tasks including payroll, inventory ordering, audits, scheduling, and incident reporting
- Attend company meetings, training sessions, and maintain certifications
- Manage weekly, monthly, and quarterly inventory and analyze profit and loss statements
- Implement local store marketing activities
- Maintain proper human resources administration and legal compliance
- Perform other duties as assigned
