Job Description
Fresh Dining Concepts is a prominent franchisee operating under the GoTo Foods™ family, proudly managing numerous Auntie Anne's locations across the United States. As a key player in the quick-service restaurant industry, Fresh Dining Concepts is dedicated to maintaining high standards of operational excellence, ensuring brand integrity, and delivering exceptional guest experiences at every location. Their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction has helped them grow steadily, creating numerous opportunities for dedicated professionals to evolve alongside the company. This organization embraces a culture of growth, leadership development, and a deep connection to their communities, all while promoting a fun and engaging work environment.
The General Manager role at Auntie Anne's, operated by Fresh Dining Concepts, is a pivotal leadership position responsible for the overall management and success of assigned store locations. This role entails comprehensive oversight of daily operations, financial performance, people leadership, and strict adherence to brand standards. Depending on store size, General Managers may lead teams ranging from 10 to 40 members, making leadership skills and team management crucial for success.
Auntie Anne's General Managers serve as role models who embody core leadership characteristics such as integrity and trust, ethics and values, customer focus, and an action-oriented mindset. They recruit, train, and retain dedicated team members, ensuring optimal staffing levels to meet business needs during various demand periods. A vital responsibility includes continuous coaching, counseling, and development of team members, fostering a strong internal talent pipeline. Operational excellence is driven through analysis of store performance, adherence to scheduling and labor compliance, and clear communication of expectations and brand standards.
Performance management is another critical aspect of the role. General Managers plan, monitor, and review individual and team performance, conduct formal performance evaluations, and take initiative in resolving conflicts and promoting accountability. Moreover, they cultivate a positive, high-performing store culture rooted in values such as Fun, Integrity, Belief, Excellence, and Results (F.I.B.E.R.). Leading by example, they inspire pride and ownership in their teams and reinforce the brand's promise to customers.
General Managers at Auntie Anne's by Fresh Dining Concepts often work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to meet the needs of the business. They need strong interpersonal, financial, and problem-solving skills to drive store success in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Candidates with a background or interest in nutrition and wellness, particularly relevant for sister brands like Jamba, are especially valued.
The position demands physical stamina such as prolonged standing, walking, bending, and the ability to lift over 50 pounds. Effective communication in English, ServSafe Certification, and compliance with all local health regulations are mandatory. Reliable transportation is also required to ensure punctuality and effective oversight of the store.
This role offers an outstanding opportunity for ambitious leaders seeking to advance within a growing franchise network committed to quality, community engagement, and sustainable success. Fresh Dining Concepts encourages individuals passionate about leading winning teams and driving results to apply and contribute to their thriving brands.
