The position available is that of a General Manager, a pivotal leadership role within the restaurant's daily operations. The General Manager serves as the primary leader and decision-maker in the restaurant, overseeing all facets of operation from opening to close. The role requires managing immediate operational aspects such as product preparation, quality control, customer relations, and inventory management, ensuring that company standards and procedures are strictly adhered to at all times. A critical component of this position includes the recruitment, training, and retention of a skilled team of restaurant employees, fostering a positive working environment that encourages teamwork and employee development. The General Manager is also responsible for maintaining the restaurant’s physical condition through regular maintenance and timely repairs to provide a safe and appealing atmosphere for guests and staff alike. Drawing from a data-driven approach, the manager will analyze financial reports including Profit and Loss Statements, enabling strategic planning to maximize revenue while controlling costs. Strong communication skills are essential for effective engagement with all levels of staff, customers, and corporate leadership. The successful candidate will bring a minimum of six months managerial experience within the Popeyes brand or at least one year of experience as a General Manager in a similar food service concept. Alternatively, a recommendation from the current Area Manager is considered. Knowledge of computer systems used for inventory and reporting, along with demonstrated leadership capabilities, are mandatory to thrive in this dynamic role. Ultimately, the General Manager will lead efforts to ensure that every guest receives the highest quality products and superior customer service, propelling the restaurant towards excellence and profitability.
