This role offers competitive pay up to $70,000 annually, with compensation dependent on experience, geographic location, and local market conditions. As a General Manager at Bob Evans, you will manage the daily operations and staff of the restaurant, ensuring that company policies, procedures, and standards are consistently met. This fast-paced leadership role requires overseeing recruiting, hiring, and training employees, motivating the team, and maintaining a positive work environment that encourages employee engagement and guest satisfaction. You will be responsible for building sales and profitability by actively managing restaurant performance, optimizing labor and food costs, maintaining high-quality operational standards, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and local health and safety regulations.

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication, planning, analytical, and interpersonal skills to resolve conflicts and inspire their team. In addition, you will play a direct role in customer experience by engaging with guests, monitoring food quality and cleanliness, and promptly addressing any issues to achieve full guest satisfaction. Financial stewardship is critical in this role, requiring skill in reviewing financial reports, handling inventory, controlling expenses, and adhering to cash security procedures.

This position requires availability for various shifts, including weekends, and the ability to stand and move extensively during shifts while performing physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds. The manager will also uphold professional appearance standards, act as a role model within the restaurant, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
