The role available at Mo' Bettahs focuses on leadership within the restaurant, balancing operational responsibilities with a strong customer service orientation. This position requires an individual who can take charge of daily brand execution, ensuring that all aspects of front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) operations are running efficiently and effectively. The leader will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, driving same-store sales growth, and managing transaction times to enhance line speed.

As the primary point of contact for customer service, this role demands an individual who can handle customer interactions with grace and professionalism while being the steward of the brand's reputation through positive customer reviews. Quality is paramount, and the leader will oversee the preparation and serving of food according to Mo' Bettahs' rigorous standards and procedures. Coordination and leadership of weekly team meetings with key members like the Manager in Training, Off-Premise Coordinator, and Certified Trainer are essential to align team efforts and foster communication.

Additionally, this role will involve essential administrative duties such as reviewing weekly employee schedules, completing reports, managing online ordering, inventory tracking, and staffing based on operational needs. A thorough knowledge of Mo' Bettahs' culture and adherence to health, safety, sanitation, and security standards is critical to succeed in this role. Furthermore, the leader will ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook.

The position offers a base salary ranging from $55,000 to $70,000 annually, with additional monthly and annual bonus potential based on store metrics and performance targets. Job Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two or more years managing up to 40 team members in business or food management
  • Proven track record of promoting team members
  • Experience identifying and developing talent within a team
  • Ability to make difficult personnel decisions

Job Duties

  • Lead the execution of the brand daily
  • Be competent in all FOH and BOH positions
  • Responsible for the cleanliness of the restaurant, FOH and BOH
  • Responsible for same store sales growth
  • Responsible for line speed to be measured using transaction times
  • Serve as primary point of contact for all customer service matters and responsible for overall customer reviews
  • Handle the execution of quality food following proper procedures and Mo' Bettahs standards
  • Coordinate and lead weekly meetings with Manager in Training, Off-Premise Coordinator, and Certified Trainer
  • Review weekly employee schedules
  • Complete weekly reports, self-reporting, people PAR staffing guide, complete online ordering, inventory, etc.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of the Mo' Bettahs culture
  • Follow all company standards for health, safety, sanitation, security, and maintain a neat and clean appearance
  • Adhere to and ensure all employees follow proper policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook
