Ambassador Hotel Wichita, Autograph Collection, is a distinguished luxury hotel located in downtown Wichita, Kansas. Owned and operated by Coury Hospitality, an independent franchisee, the hotel is part of the prestigious Autograph Collection—a portfolio of four and five-star independent hotels known for their unique character, quality, and exceptional guest experiences. This elegant hotel features 117 sophisticated guest rooms and is home to Siena Tuscan Steakhouse, which offers refined Italian cuisine in an upscale and inviting ambiance. At Ambassador Hotel Wichita, the emphasis is placed on luxury, hospitality, and professional growth, making it a sought-after destination for both travelers and hospitality professionals alike. The hotel's environment thrives on personalized service and high-quality guest interactions, set within a beautiful and historic setting.

As a Hotel General Manager at Ambassador Hotel Wichita, you assume a critical leadership role responsible for the overall management and operational performance of the property. This full-time management position encompasses the leadership of all departments including Rooms Division, Sales, Engineering, Catering & Conference Services, Food & Beverage, and Third-Party Vendors. Key facets of the role include fostering exceptional guest service standards, personally resolving guest concerns to build loyalty, coordinating cross-departmental operations to achieve financial and service goals, and aligning the property’s objectives with corporate strategies. Additionally, the role requires managing budgets, driving profitability, analyzing market trends, recruiting and mentoring department leaders, promoting teamwork and transparent communication, and ensuring a clean, safe, and secure environment. The General Manager also serves as a community ambassador and leads hotel emergency response planning and safety initiatives.

Physical demands include being mobile throughout the shift, standing and walking, lifting up to 60 pounds, working outdoors in varied weather conditions, and maintaining computer use during extended periods. This company offers an attractive compensation package that includes a salary of $149,000 along with comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and 401K benefits.
