The General Manager role at Another Broken Egg Cafe is a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of the café. The GM leads by example to maintain the cafe’s highest standards of service, quality, and cleanliness while fostering a positive and motivated team environment. This role requires a hands-on manager who can deliver both operational excellence and outstanding guest experiences. Key responsibilities include providing verbal recognition and constructive feedback to employees, managing all aspects of restaurant operations, upholding policies and procedures, controlling food costs, maintaining inventory management, ensuring equipment cleanliness and maintenance, and driving sales growth through exceptional guest satisfaction. The General Manager also plays an essential role in training and developing hourly staff, ensuring consistent food preparation and presentation according to company standards, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Candidates for this position should have over five years of experience in a full-service salaried management role with a strong background in back-of-house operations. Proven leadership abilities in developing and managing hourly teams and familiarity with meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) and Profit & Loss (P&L) management are essential.
