The General Manager position is a pivotal leadership role at the new ECHO Suites Extended Stay by Wyndham located in Aurora, Colorado. This hotel marks an exciting expansion of Wyndham's extended-stay brand, with 124 rooms tailored to meet the needs of extended-stay travelers. Being the first of several upcoming properties in the Greater Denver metropolitan area, this role offers a unique chance to shape the guest experience and operational standards at the ground level. As the on-site leader, the General Manager is responsible for overseeing all facets of daily hotel operations, including managing front desk services, housekeeping, maintenance, guest relations, staffing, and financial performance. The role demands hands-on leadership, where driving guest satisfaction, ensuring compliance with company and brand standards, and fostering a positive team culture are top priorities. The General Manager will lead by example, promoting teamwork and accountability while aligning operational goals with business objectives.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
Minimum of 5 years' experience in hotel or hospitality management
Exceptional leadership and organizational skills
Strong financial acumen and budget management experience
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Excellent problem-solving abilities
Valid driver's license
Ability to pass background checks and drug screening

Job Qualifications

Proven experience in hotel management or a similar leadership role
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Knowledge of hotel operations and financial management
Ability to foster a positive and productive work environment
Experience with extended stay hotel operations preferred
Familiarity with Wyndham brand standards an advantage
