The open position of General Manager offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional who is passionate about leadership and guest satisfaction. The role is a full-time, in-person position located in Austin, Texas, with a compensation range of $75,000 to $85,000 annually, supplemented by an incentive bonus based on individual and venue performance. Key responsibilities include managing the financial health of the venue by understanding and analyzing the profit and loss statements, identifying areas for revenue growth, and controlling costs effectively. The General Manager is also responsible for optimizing the guest experience by ensuring high standards of quality and service, maintaining venue cleanliness, and managing equipment functionality. Leadership is a vital component of this role as it requires guiding and motivating a diverse team to deliver exceptional customer service, developing talent within the team for long-term engagement and retention, and working closely with direct reports such as the Assistant General Manager and Kitchen Manager.

The ideal candidate will bring at least five years of successful management experience within full-service restaurants or the 'eatertainment' industry, demonstrating solid expertise in financial oversight, legal and HR compliance, and operational standards. This position requires strong communication skills, computer literacy in Microsoft Office and G-Suite, and the ability to handle physical tasks associated with the job environment.
