The General Manager is also responsible for optimizing the guest experience by ensuring high standards of quality and service, maintaining venue cleanliness, and managing equipment functionality. Leadership is a vital component of this role as it requires guiding and motivating a diverse team to deliver exceptional customer service, developing talent within the team for long-term engagement and retention, and working closely with direct reports such as the Assistant General Manager and Kitchen Manager.
The ideal candidate will bring at least five years of successful management experience within full-service restaurants or the 'eatertainment' industry, demonstrating solid expertise in financial oversight, legal and HR compliance, and operational standards. This position requires strong communication skills, computer literacy in Microsoft Office and G-Suite, and the ability to handle physical tasks associated with the job environment. Job Requirements
- Able to execute light lifting up to 50 lbs
- Able to stand for extended periods
- Comfortable walking stairs frequently
- Ability to operate POS touchscreen devices
- Comfortable in kitchen environment with exposure to heat and noise
- Ability to climb stairs
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer literacy
Job Qualifications
- At least five years of successful management experience in full-service restaurants or the eatertainment industry
- Successful track record managing high-volume and fast-paced operations
- Demonstrated experience with financial and P and L responsibilities
- Basic knowledge of legal and HR issues related to hospitality
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and G-Suite
