The General/Store Manager role at Fresh Dining Concepts, LLC is a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a store to meet or exceed financial goals related to sales, labor, and food costs. This full-time position requires a proactive manager who exercises discretion regularly in managing store activities, ensuring that the store operates efficiently and profitably. The General Manager supervises and directs all store staff, including hiring, training, evaluating, and managing employee performance in alignment with company policies and standards. A critical part of the role involves maintaining guest satisfaction, product quality, and store safety while ensuring compliance with all relevant federal and state regulations.

In addition to overseeing financial targets and operational standards, the General Manager is entrusted with managing store assets, including security and safety protocols, cash handling, and inventory management. They are responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of financial and operational reports, supporting the District Manager, HR, and corporate leadership in staffing decisions and organizational development. This role involves hands-on leadership, often working alongside team members on the front lines and providing coaching and mentoring to develop a motivated and high-performing staff.

The position demands a well-rounded leader with strong communication and organizational skills, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while effectively managing multiple priorities. The General Manager also drives local marketing and promotional activities, maintaining good relations with mall management and associating with community business groups to enhance store visibility and customer engagement. Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years old or older

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required, BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent experience

  • availability to work shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Achieve sales, labor, and food cost targets to ensure store profitability
  • supervise and direct all store staff including hiring, training, evaluating, and disciplining
  • maintain security and safety of the store including managing cash handling and bank deposits
  • monitor inventory levels, control waste, and reduce variable operating expenses
  • manage scheduling and staffing in consultation with District Manager
  • oversee training and onboarding of new and existing employees
  • ensure compliance with company policies and applicable federal and state regulations including OSHA, EPA, and health codes
