Job Description

This job opportunity is offered by an independent franchisee who owns and operates a McDonald’s restaurant. Unlike McDonald’s USA, which licenses its logos and food products to franchisees, this franchise is a separate company and employer. This means the franchisee handles all employment matters, including hiring, firing, scheduling, and supervision, independently of McDonald’s USA. If hired, you will be employed by the franchisee, not McDonald’s USA, which has no control over the hiring processes or ongoing employment decisions at this location.

Job Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Previous management experience in quick service restaurants or related industries
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to maintain high standards of quality and cleanliness
  • Commitment to customer service excellence

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a General Manager in high-volume quick service restaurants
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Background in hospitality or retail preferred
  • Ability to set goals, coach teams, and improve departmental performance
  • Effective communication and organizational skills
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Proven record of managing teams and achieving business objectives

Job Duties

  • Run a profitable restaurant by meeting operational goals
  • Ensure the restaurant meets McDonald’s standards of quality, service, and cleanliness
  • Lead and support a team of Department Managers by setting goals and providing coaching
  • Manage recruitment, hiring, and development of Department and Shift Managers
  • Oversee daily restaurant operations and resolve any issues promptly
  • Foster a positive and energetic team environment focused on customer satisfaction
  • Monitor financial performance and control expenses to maximize profitability
