The company is currently seeking an experienced and driven General Manager to lead its Black Rifle Coffee Outpost team. This role requires a dynamic leader who can oversee all aspects of the store’s operations, including managing sales goals, enhancing customer service, handling inventory, and supervising staff. The General Manager will act as both a player and coach, promoting best practices in customer service and operations to ensure the store not only meets but exceeds company standards. The position demands strong leadership skills to cultivate a positive, motivated, and adaptable team that responds effectively to the evolving needs of customers and the business.
In this key role, the General Manager will be responsible for managing the store’s profit and loss, controlling expenses, labor costs, and supplies while ensuring optimal inventory levels. They will implement company programs, develop actionable plans, and coach team members to align store performance with organizational objectives. This role also requires maintaining strong relationships with customers, vendors, and the local community to foster loyalty and engagement. A data-driven approach is crucial, utilizing management information tools and financial reports to identify trends, mitigate risks, and seize opportunities for growth and improvement.

Physical demands include standing, sitting, stooping, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds as well as occasional travel. Candidates must possess strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and POS systems, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment. Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 5+ years experience in a QSR environment preferred
- 3+ years experience in retail/QSR store management
- Proven sales and profitability track record

Job Qualifications
- Bachelors degree preferred

- Strong leadership, organizational, delegation, and communication skills
- Track record of managing and motivating a team of hourly employees
- Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising strategies preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and POS systems
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends, holidays
Job Duties
- Manage all aspects of store operations including sales, customer service, inventory management, hiring, staff supervision and development
- Manage profit and loss of the store controlling expenses, labor costs, supplies, and inventory
- Embody a customer first attitude embedding best practices and training to provide legendary customer service
- Cultivate a focused and positive, cohesive environment flexing to ever changing customer and business needs
- Own successful implementation of company programs developing action plans and coaching the store team to meet operational and organizational objectives
- Act as player/coach demonstrating best practices and behaviors that motivate employees to perform at their highest levels
- Constantly review store environment and key business indicators to identify risks and opportunities for improvement and escalate feedback to senior leadership
