Job Requirements

  • minimum of 3 years food service management experience front and back of house
  • proven knowledge of retail sales and POS systems
  • catering management experience required
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • strong proficiency in menu development and presentation
  • demonstrated ability to recruit, train, and retain staff
  • experience working in contract dining services such as hospitals, schools, colleges, senior living, or corporate dining
  • technology proficiency in related systems
  • hospitality degree is a plus but not mandatory

Job Duties

  • lead and manage food service operations including cafe, food court, and coffee shop
  • oversee catering services and ensure high-quality customer experiences
  • implement company cycle menus and recipes
  • manage purchasing, inventory, and scheduling
  • supervise employee personnel programs and training
  • maintain food preparation, service, and sanitation standards
  • manage bookkeeping and financial reporting
  • build and maintain positive client and customer relations
  • recruit, train, and retain team members
  • utilize POS systems and technology to streamline operations
