Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum management experience of 5 years
  • Minimum functional experience of 5 years
  • Strong leadership experience in healthcare food service
  • Culinary background
  • Proven success managing unionized teams
  • Experience leading management teams
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to drive employee engagement

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong leadership experience in healthcare food service preferably within long-term care
  • Culinary background with a passion for quality innovation and resident-centered dining
  • Proven success managing unionized teams in a complex high-volume environment
  • Experience leading multi-level management teams
  • Strong financial acumen including P&L management and cost control
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills
  • Ability to drive employee engagement and operational performance

Job Duties

  • Provide strategic leadership for all food service operations including patient dining and retail services
  • Lead mentor and develop a team including Operations Manager Patient Services Manager Executive Chef and over 50 union frontline employees
  • Drive exceptional resident satisfaction through quality food service and hospitality
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as DOH Joint Commission and HACCP
  • Oversee financial performance including budgeting forecasting and cost controls
  • Partner closely with client leadership to deliver on program objectives and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Foster a culture of safety teamwork and service excellence
