This role, General Manager 4 – Corporate Dining & Catering, based in Boston, MA, offers a unique opportunity to lead a high-profile corporate dining account within Sodexo’s corporate services division. This account features a modern café, coffee bar, and robust catering operation that serves both daily dining needs and large-scale events. Catering constitutes a significant portion of the business, with approximately 60% day-to-day catering services and 40% special events, including a signature large end-of-year holiday event that highlights innovative culinary offerings and exceptional service. This blend of café-style dining and premium catering provides a dynamic and fast-paced environment that requires strong operational acumen and exceptional leadership.
As the primary on-site leader, the General Manager 4 will have full operational responsibility for the account, serving as the main liaison between Sodexo and the client. This highly visible role demands a proactive and client-focused leader who can drive innovation, elevate the guest experience, and lead a talented culinary and management team. The General Manager will oversee financial and budget management, ensuring business objectives are met while maintaining high standards in food safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of management experience
- Minimum 5 years of functional experience in hospitality or foodservice
- Proven experience leading catering-heavy operations
- Strong client-facing communication skills
- Financial management experience
- Ability to lead and develop teams effectively
