Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum age 18 years
- Serv Safe certification
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally
- Ability to analyze financial statements and food cost data
- Must have problem-solving skills and sound judgment
- Open availability to work flexible hours
- Basic computer proficiency
- Must pass background check and drug test
- Ability to handle physical demands such as standing, walking and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work under environmental conditions including exposure to heat, chemicals, and potential hazards
- Willingness to follow company policies and procedures
- Ability to maintain safe and clean work environment
- Compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Valid work authorization.
Job Qualifications
- High school or GED
- Some college preferred
- Previous restaurant experience desirable
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be Serv Safe certified
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to listen and understand different points of view
- Ability to influence others and gain commitment
- Ability to present information clearly and concisely
- Understanding of profit and loss analysis, cash controls, labor analysis, yields and food cost calculations
- Ability to solve problems and exercise sound judgment
- Open availability to work various shifts
- Knowledge of order processing systems and basic computer skills
- Strong leadership skills with ability to develop and grow others
- Experience in customer service and complaint resolution.
Job Duties
- Responsible for working the front counter to ensure quality service
- Check product quality and communicate with customers ensuring availability
- Effectively train and coach employees to show courtesy and handle complaints
- Conduct meetings with team members and management for planning, training and reviewing operations
- Develop and maintain an acceptable level of sales and utilize local store marketing
- Monitor utilities, supplies, and other costs to minimize impact
- Analyze profits and loss statements and take corrective action
- Follow proper procedures and specifications in food preparation and serving
- Control restaurant inventory through established systems
- Use approved labor guidelines and develop labor schedules
- Adjust labor according to sales volume changes
- Manage cash control and make bank deposits daily
- Report accidents and incidents to Risk Management timely
- Maintain a safe work environment and achieve high health department ratings
- Ensure restaurant and team image through cleanliness and uniform standards
- Keep District Manager informed on hiring, promotions and employee status changes
- Process payroll and maintain applicant tracking
- Conduct performance reviews and document disciplinary actions
- Maintain personnel files and post required Federal and State workplace posters
- Utilize preventive maintenance systems and ensure repairs of buildings and equipment
- Attend management meetings as scheduled
- Perform all required administrative paperwork.
