Job Requirements
- Ability to work typical shifts of 10-12 hours

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- extensive experience leading a high-volume, upscale restaurant
- wine knowledge required, sommelier experience preferred
- Servsafe Food and Alcohol certification preferred
- some culinary experience or training a plus
- formal business education or restaurant management degree a plus
- above average computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- strong leadership and communication skills
- ability to manage budgets and financial reports
- exceptional guest service mentality
- ability to motivate and develop team members
- excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Job Duties
- Conduct facility walk through (interior and exterior) to ensure a clean, safe and guest-friendly atmosphere and ambiance
- complete administrative office work including answering emails and voicemails, entering sales reports, paying invoices, checking deliveries
- review previous day's sales reports for accuracy and resolve discrepancies
- communicate proactively with management team and corporate staff regarding business operations
- review daily reservations and events to ensure proper staffing
- perform kitchen and bar line checks to ensure quality and inventory needs
- set and achieve budgeted sales and profit levels, review financial results, and take corrective actions
- conduct pre-shift meetings to review menu changes and promotions
- provide motivational leadership and communication to staff
- rotate through restaurant stations to monitor activities
- interact regularly with guests to ensure satisfaction
- complete closing duties including sales reports and cleaning
- facilitate weekly manager’s meetings for development and staffing
- monitor inventory levels and order from approved vendors
- plan and execute local marketing and public relations activities
- recruit, hire, and train restaurant personnel
- conduct performance reviews and create development plans
- review banquet and special event plans
- attend training courses to enhance skills
- build community relationships to promote brand awareness
- develop catering and private dining business
