Job Requirements

  • minimum of 3 - 5 years experience as a general manager
  • experience in branded or upscale hotel property preferred
  • strong financial management skills including profit and loss analysis and budgeting
  • ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • knowledge of hospitality industry regulations and safety standards
  • ability to manage labor productivity effectively
  • creative problem solving and strategic planning capabilities

Job Qualifications

  • proven track record in delivering financial results with financial management skills such as analyzing profit and loss statements, developing operating budgets, forecasting and capital expenditure planning
  • experience in building, influencing and growing cohesive teams
  • demonstrated positive associate engagement and guest satisfaction
  • knowledge across revenue management, sales, marketing and food and beverage strategies
  • understanding of governmental regulations and safety standards including OSHA, EPA, ADA, CFC, and NFPA
  • strong labor productivity management
  • creative problem-solving and strategic execution skills
  • minimum three to five years experience as a general manager
  • experience in branded hotel or upscale property preferred

Job Duties

  • lead, develop, and influence teams to deliver financial, cultural and experiential results
  • achieve business goals while maintaining brand style and ambiance
  • serve as strategic business leader responsible for overall hotel performance
  • maintain compliance with profit and loss, guest satisfaction, brand quality assurance, budget and labor standards
  • direct leadership teams and develop operating departments including food and beverage, sales, marketing and human resources
  • lead day-to-day culture and maintain ethical leadership for associate engagement and guest satisfaction
  • build owner confidence through proactive communication and managing expectations
  • perform other duties as assigned by RVPs and corporate leadership
