Job Duties

  • Provide leadership of the day-to-day operations including human resources, rooms, engineering, sales and marketing, revenue, food and beverage, culinary, and finance departments
  • develop overall strategy to maximize guest satisfaction, service standards, colleague satisfaction, and financial performance
  • promote efficient operating procedures for flawless guest experiences and actively engage with guests from arrival to departure
  • maintain high service levels for internal and external guests
  • supervise, develop, maintain, and support executive committee members’ performance and group dynamics
  • resolve problems and ensure consistent memorable guest service and communication
  • promote positive work environment with appropriate staffing, training, recognition, mentoring, and coaching
  • analyze revenues, sales strategy, labor reports, guest satisfaction reviews, and expenses to ensure business plan execution and profitability
  • excel at revenue generation and cost control to meet or exceed budgets
  • proactively pursue revenue maximization and cost savings initiatives
  • represent brands in the market and build strong community relations
  • develop and maintain relationships with neighbors, vendors, and competitors
  • ensure property compliance with legal, safety, operations, labor and employment laws
  • ensure full adherence to Viceroy Hotel Group service standards
  • drive service excellence and guest satisfaction scores
  • maintain balanced relationship between owner and management company focusing on transparency, innovation, and entrepreneurship
