Job Qualifications

  • College degree preferred but not required
  • previous restaurant experience is a must
  • combination of related experience and education will be considered
  • knowledge of computers including MS Word and Excel
  • valid drivers license
  • eligible to work in the United States
  • agree to a background check

Job Duties

  • Oversee and manage all areas of the restaurant to ensure guest satisfaction and increased profitability
  • ensure 100% guest satisfaction in areas of quality, service and cleanliness
  • respond to guest complaints and take necessary actions to retain customers
  • provide direction to team members regarding operational and procedural issues
  • maintain accurate staffing needs and conduct interviews following the four steps of staffing
  • develop team members through ongoing feedback and performance reviews
  • enforce food safety and sanitary practices to maintain health inspection scores of 90% or higher
  • ensure compliance with Moe's/Sterling Operational Standards and maintain professional appearance standards
  • manage food flow to ensure high quality products and low waste
  • implement security procedures to protect guests, employees and assets
  • manage safe work environment and complete injury reports timely
  • conduct effective shift management
  • investigate and address mystery shopper reports to improve operations
  • adhere to Sterling standards to increase sales and minimize costs
  • utilize monthly P&L statements to improve profitability
  • complete all financial reporting accurately and timely
  • organize community spirit nights and promote local involvement
  • perform other duties as required or requested
