Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in hotel management or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an assistant general manager or 3 years of hotel operations experience in a supervisory role with a strong food and beverage background
- 2 years of experience in direct sales or retail trade or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive to customer appointments
- Proficiency with computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and property management systems
- Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, time management, and listening skills
- Strong analytical skills for business measurement
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of customers and management

Job Duties
- Recruit, onboard, develop, set schedules, and manage associates to drive productivity and efficiency
- Promote strong two-way communication across departmental lines to create a team environment among employees
- Create and maintain employee recognition systems and strategies to reward excellence, retain top talent, and foster career development
- Lead the preparation, development, and implementation of the annual budget for the hotel
- Develop short term and long term financial and operational plans to support overall budget objectives
- Ensure compliance with company policies and local, state, and federal laws
- Continuously monitor hotel performance through guest satisfaction systems and financial reports
- Develop new programs to increase guest satisfaction and operational excellence
- Drive operational excellence through process improvement, proactive planning, and service recovery initiatives
- Establish and maintain human resource functions for employee motivation, training, wage/benefit administration and regulatory compliance
- Implement preventative maintenance programs to protect hotel assets
- Maintain security functions to protect hotel assets and personal safety of employees and guests
- Implement and maintain local and national sales, marketing, and revenue programs
- Develop sales action plans and evaluate trends to enhance revenues
- Represent the hotel within the Arlington and hospitality communities
