The General Manager position at Fresh Dining Concepts is an essential leadership role focused on overseeing the day-to-day operations of one of the company’s store locations. This role is critical for achieving sales, labor, and food cost targets to ensure store profitability and sustainable growth. The General Manager exercises independent judgment in managing all facets of store operations, including supervising staff, managing finances, controlling costs, and ensuring compliance with all food safety, health, and operational standards. This position demands strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create a positive and productive work environment. The General Manager is responsible for recruiting, training, and developing the store team, scheduling shifts, and monitoring employee performance, while consistently delivering an outstanding guest experience through high-quality product offerings and exceptional service. They also play a pivotal role in maintaining security, overseeing cash handling, and managing vendor relationships. The General Manager works collaboratively with district leadership and other stakeholders to meet or exceed operational standards and business goals. This position requires a hands-on approach, including the willingness to work alongside team members during peak hours and to handle administrative tasks such as payroll, inventory management, and reporting.
