The position of Van Delivery Driver at Gordon Food Service Store LLC involves responsible and courteous delivery of products on variable daily routes. The role requires operating a delivery van safely and professionally while paying close attention to detail and maintaining excellent work habits. Drivers will also assist with store operations before or after their delivery routes. Key responsibilities include accurately locating and picking orders for wholesale customers, maintaining strong customer relationships, ensuring timely deliveries, and performing daily vehicle and equipment inspections. Additionally, the position involves assisting with in-store sales transactions, merchandising, and organization to ensure a seamless customer experience. Job Qualifications

at least one year previous delivery driving experience
at least one year in customer service or related field preferred
unrestricted standard operators license
clean driving record with no drug or alcohol offenses in the last five years
able to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 70 pounds
ability to use a two-wheel cart with loads up to 350 pounds

Job Duties

accurately locate and pick orders in-store for wholesale customers
build and maintain good customer relationships
keep customers happy with accurate, timely deliveries of products
perform daily pre/post trip inspection of vehicle and equipment
ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer purchases through point of sale
ensure security of assets including cash, checks, and merchandise by following policies and procedures
accurately receive and merchandise products, ensuring proper rotation and product quality, end cap and planogram execution, top stock, freezer, cooler and backroom organization
