Full-Time Store Associate

The role of Store Associate at ALDI is a full-time position, offering an average of 30 or more hours per week, starting at a competitive wage of $20.50 per hour. The wage increases gradually with tenure, reaching up to $22.50 per hour by the fifth year, reflecting the company’s appreciation for employee loyalty and performance. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for a broad range of duties that are vital to the smooth operation of the store, from merchandising and stocking products to cashiering and maintaining cleanliness to create an inviting shopping environment. This role is pivotal in enhancing the overall customer experience by working collaboratively with other members of the ALDI team and providing exceptional customer service.

This position requires the associate to model and uphold all customer service principles, promptly escalate concerns to management, and maintain an efficient checkout environment by following store policies and operating the point-of-sale system accurately. You will also be tasked with adhering to cash handling procedures, keeping the store well-stocked and organized following merchandising planograms, and ensuring the accuracy and timely delivery of curbside pickup orders. Physical demands include the ability to lift and stock products weighing up to 45 pounds, maneuver equipment such as pallet jacks and floor scrubbers, and operate in varying temperature environments such as freezers and coolers.
