Job Requirements

- completed or in process of completing management certification program
- obtain food handler’s card where applicable
- obtain ServSafe Food Manager Certification
- comply with food safety rules and health department regulations
- demonstrate ability to supervise staff
- possess excellent communication skills

- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 60 lbs
- knowledge of cash management policies
- experience in scheduling and staff management
- ability to manage inventory and cost controls

Job Qualifications
- Degree in business and or equivalent
- two years management or supervisory experience in restaurant or VIP/luxury theatre concept
- experience in high volume hospitality environment
- ability to complete legally required alcohol training and certification
- completion or in progress of management certification program
- Food Handler’s Card
- ServSafe Food Manager Certification
- knowledge of food safety laws and health regulations
- proficiency with basic office software and PC platforms
- effective communication skills in oral and written form

Job Duties
- Regular and consistent attendance
- must be of legal age to sell and serve alcohol per state and local laws
- uphold and administer all Regal policies and brand standards
- ensure all cash management policies and procedures are adhered to
- monitor risk management related to employee and guest safety
- comply with food safety rules, laws, and health department regulations
- report accidents, incidents, and business interruptions promptly
- hire, train, develop, mentor, supervise, counsel, schedule, and terminate employees
- train staff in various positions including server, box office, food runner, and bartender
- maintain and operate projection and sound technology
- ensure facilities are cleaned and maintained to Regal standards
- direct kitchen and bar maintenance and sanitation programs
- schedule and oversee repairs on kitchen appliances
- supervise theatre maintenance including interior, building, and grounds
- optimize profits by maintaining strict cost controls including payroll and supplies
- maintain inventory controls for food, beverage, and janitorial supplies
- order supplies based on demand to avoid stockouts
- control inventory shortages and spoilage
- conduct monthly and quarterly inventories
- create staff schedules to meet demand and control labor costs
- conduct daily theatre inspections and follow up on corrective actions
- complete daily kitchen logs
- ensure all food and beverages are prepared and served per Regal standards
- ensure guest satisfaction through excellent service
- manage guest relations, marketing, and showtime scheduling
- respond to guest inquiries and complaints
- count, deposit, and reconcile all receipts
- keep updated on recipe changes
- measure and assemble ingredients
- expedite food from kitchen
- collaborate with managers and cooks
- properly store food items
- maintain food safety compliance
- rotate stock
- restock kitchen
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation
- uphold dress code and personal hygiene standards
- handle lost and found items per policy
- abide by laws regarding breaks
- complete management certification program
- obtain food handler’s card and ServSafe Food Manager Certification
