Operating primarily in major metropolitan areas, including Chicago, Palm Beach, New York, and Miami—with the flexibility of some select nationwide introductions—the agency has established itself as a trusted leader in the private service industry. With a deep commitment to authenticity, integrity, attention to detail, and respect, My Household Managed aims to facilitate long-lasting career successes for candidates by matching their unique skills, personalities, and professional aspirations with the ideal household environment where their talents will be valued and fostered. Candidates experience clear, timely communication throughout the recruitment process, emphasizing the agency's dedication to transparency and candidate advocacy. My Household Managed’s reputation is built on these foundational values alongside a commitment to continuous improvement, ensuring that each introduction not only meets immediate needs but also supports sustained career growth for private service professionals.

The role offered here is for a Full-Time Private Chef position in Miami Beach, Florida, with an annual compensation of $130,000 plus overtime pay calculated at $47.40 per hour and a performance-based annual bonus of $5,000. This full-time opportunity guarantees 40 hours weekly, translating into 48.5 guaranteed hours per week on a split and full-day schedule during the week and weekends. The start date is set for September 15, 2026. The ideal candidate will possess a refined culinary skill set with a special focus on European and Mediterranean cuisines styled as elevated home cooking with exquisite presentation. This Private Chef will serve a personal household of five members moving into a new residence, preparing meals following kosher dietary laws (all meat kosher, no pork), though prior kosher kitchen experience is welcomed but not mandatory. The role requires a professional who appreciates the subtle balance between being highly organized and competent while maintaining a discreet, background presence within a shared kitchen environment.

The day-to-day responsibilities include preparing continental breakfasts for three children during the workweek mornings and managing comprehensive meals—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—on weekends. The chef will be responsible for delivering plated, refined dinners on entertaining occasions twice a week, while other meals follow a family-style approach. Weekly menu planning, grocery shopping, sourcing, kitchen inventory management, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen space are essential. Additional duties include preparing to-go provisions for family boat outings, baking goods, and running food-related errands. The schedule demands split shifts from Wednesday to Friday with mornings from 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM and evenings from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, offering flexibility to stay at home or leave between shifts. Full-day service is required Saturday and Sunday, with Mondays and Tuesdays off.

Candidates must be prepared for formal dress standards and should have the physical ability to meet the role’s demands, including driving with a clean record using a family-provided vehicle. Occasional travel with the family is possible on 7–10 day trips to St. Barths, but travel is not a regular duty. This position requires a professional looking for a long-term commitment, comfortable working independently with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The candidate should be 21 years or older, have at least three years of professional private household culinary experience, hold a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and be legally authorized to work in the United States. References from previous private chef roles will be vital during the hiring process. This job opening is available to local candidates only.

This Private Chef role is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated culinary professional who appreciates the nuances of fine home dining with a European and Mediterranean flair, thrives in a private family setting, and values delivering exceptional service with tact and precision. If you aspire to advance your private service career with a reputable agency that values career development and respects its professionals, applying through My Household Managed will be a decisive next step.
