This full-time Housekeeper/Laundry Aide position is based at the Cleveland facility, where the successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and comfort standards are met and maintained for the residents. This role is a dual responsibility, requiring the individual to split time between housekeeping activities and laundry duties, helping to maintain an orderly and sanitary environment. The position involves day-to-day cleaning of the facility, handling linens and laundry, and coordinating these tasks to support the health and well-being of the residents. The schedule includes every other weekend rotation, which is essential to provide continuous care and support seamlessly. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or laundry experience in a healthcare or hospitality setting preferred
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with residents, families, visitors and co-workers
- Ability to read and understand standard English
- Ability to work with standard cleaning chemicals
- Willingness to work every other weekend
- Full-time availability
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Perform daily housekeeping duties including cleaning resident rooms, common areas and bathrooms
- Manage laundry operations including washing, drying, folding and distribution of linens and clothing
- Use cleaning chemicals safely and according to guidelines
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages
- Follow infection control policies and procedures
- Interact with residents, families and staff tactfully and professionally
- Rotate weekend shifts as required
