The role of Deep Cleaner at Kimpton Hotel Monaco Pittsburgh is critical in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and comfort the hotel is known for. This position involves comprehensive cleaning responsibilities across guest rooms and common areas, ensuring every space meets hotel procedures and guest expectations. The Deep Cleaner acts as a frontline ambassador for the hotel, crafting uniquely personal experiences for guests through meticulous attention to detail and proactive service. Responsibilities include cleaning, dusting, waxing, scrubbing, polishing, and servicing both guest rooms and corridors. This role also requires handling linen replacement, supply replenishment, and reporting any maintenance or security issues. A deep cleaning routine involves vacuuming, stain treatment, thorough furniture and fixture cleaning, and grout maintenance, among other detailed tasks.

Candidates in this role are expected to be excellent problem solvers with strong intuition and a genuine care for guest safety and security. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is essential. Job Duties

  • clean guest rooms and common areas in line with hotel procedures
  • replace linens and replenish guest room supplies
  • empty wastebaskets and rearrange furnishings, drapes, and room accessories
  • provide linens and amenities according to guest room legend
  • leave rooms in uniform arrangement and ensure doors are closed and locked
  • report any damage, hazards, repairs, and unauthorized persons
  • return lost and found items to housekeeping and log details
  • clean all corridors and service areas
  • respond to housekeeping projects and requests
  • maintain pass key security and turn in keys as required
  • restock cart and organize linen closet
  • report unusual circumstances to supervisor
  • perform extensive deep cleaning including vacuuming, fabric stain treatment, and bathroom cleaning
  • perform additional duties as assigned
