Job Qualifications
- a high school diploma or equivalent
- one-year experience preparing food from scratch or equivalent preferred
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- strong communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- prepare, present, serve, clean up, and store well-balanced and delicious meals
- utilize a menu specified for seniors with adaptability and critical thinking to make changes as needed
- maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards
- ensure food safety and compliance with health regulations
- collaborate with the care team to meet residents' dietary needs
- manage inventory and food storage
- assist in meal planning and special dietary accommodations
