Job Duties

  • Ensure the meals you cook are great tasting and great looking
  • Follow the recipes and the dietician-approved menu as directed by your Supervisor
  • Know specialized diets- ensuring all kitchen staff knows what resident’s current diets are
  • Respond to customer preferences and complaints
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen after service
  • When directed by your Supervisor, ensure all deliveries match delivery documentation
  • Report any discrepancies to your Supervisor immediately
  • Unload and stock deliveries as directed by your Supervisor
  • Be responsible for rotating stock to ensure items are used prior to expiration as directed by Supervisor
