Job Duties
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of assigned areas including floors restrooms break rooms offices and common areas
- Sweep mop vacuum dust sanitize and empty trash receptacles
- Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces according to company standards
- Replenish restroom and facility supplies as needed
- Follow established cleaning schedules and complete assigned tasks efficiently
- Report any maintenance concerns damaged equipment or safety hazards to the supervisor
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Properly handle store and use cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Keep emergency exits eyewash stations and walkways clear and accessible
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and report equipment malfunctions promptly
- Wear required personal protective equipment at all times
- Clean and maintain assigned cleaning equipment after each shift
- Drain clean and charge equipment as required
- Return all tools equipment wet floor signs mop buckets brooms and supplies to designated storage areas
- Ensure propane tanks are safely returned to the designated storage cage when applicable
- Maintain janitorial closets in a clean organized and fully stocked condition
- Notify the supervisor of supply shortages equipment issues accidents or facility concerns
- Complete assigned checklists and documentation accurately
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding daily assignments and any operational concerns
- Participate in walkthroughs with store management when requested
