Moldaw Residences is currently seeking a hospitality-focused Caregiver/Med Tech to join their team. This full-time position on the PM shift offers competitive hourly pay ranging between $24.00 and $26.00. The role requires a passionate and compassionate individual who is dedicated to providing exceptional care and building meaningful connections with the residents. The Caregiver/Med Tech will be assisting residents with various activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, and other personal care tasks. This position involves administering medications in compliance with physician orders and state regulations, ensuring that each resident's health needs are met with accuracy and sensitivity.

In addition to direct care duties, the caregiver will monitor resident well-being, maintain a safe and comfortable environment, and support meal times. The role also includes documenting care activities, responding promptly to emergencies and call lights, and participating in ongoing training and in-service education sessions to maintain a high standard of care. Job Requirements

  • Prior geriatric nursing aide experience preferred
  • Current and valid First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to get certified
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and follow instructions in English
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office or willingness to learn within 90 days of employment
  • Ability to work the PM shift 2:30PM-11:00PM
  • Must pass post-offer employment physical, TB test, and Department of Justice criminal background check

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One year experience working as a CNA, PCA, HHA, or RA preferred
  • Ability to administer medication according to care plans
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office or willingness to learn within 90 days
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification or willing to obtain

Job Duties

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and incontinent care
  • Administer medications as per physician orders and state regulations
  • Monitor resident well-being and document status accurately
  • Respond promptly to call lights and emergencies
  • Maintain cleanliness in kitchens, work stations, laundry rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare staff
  • Participate in training and education sessions
