With a strong emphasis on baking fresh bagels, bringing joy to customers, and building a strong community, Jeff's Bagel Run has expanded to 34 locations, and is now excited to open a new location in Gainesville this summer. Candidates do not need prior bakery experience as full training is provided; however, previous experience in a restaurant or bakery setting will be considered a bonus. The ideal team member will be disciplined, fast, efficient, and take pride in delivering consistent, high-quality products and excellent customer service every day. Physical fitness is necessary since the role involves lifting up to 50 lbs and working quickly and efficiently under pressure during busy periods. Duties involve baking and food preparation tasks such as making bagel dough, whipping cream cheese, chopping vegetables, inventory counting, making coffee, dishwashing, cleaning, and frontline customer service. Working in a clean, safe, and organized environment is a critical part of job performance.

Job Duties

  • General customer service
  • Running front of house as a team or individually
  • Operating a cash register and assisting in food preparation (bagels and cream cheese)
  • Maintaining front lobby cleanliness

  • Providing assistance to bakers when needed
  • Cleaning and disinfecting work area
  • Setting up and breaking down work stations
  • Following sanitation and cleaning procedures
