Job Requirements
- Ability to obtain Maricopa Health Card (Food Handlers Card)
- Ability to obtain Alcohol Certificate
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation
- Sufficient manual dexterity and strength for bar tasks
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Willingness to work evening shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to establish effective working relationships
- Self-starting personality with an even disposition
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in bartending including cash handling and customer service
- Knowledge of cocktails, wine, and spirits with the ability to make recommendations
- Experience in hospitality industry preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Basic mathematical skills for cash register operations
- Ability to stand and work for extended periods in confined spaces
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve beverages promptly and courteously in a fast-paced upscale setting
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Handle cash register operations including making change and processing payments
- Prepare garnishes and mix drinks according to recipes
- Engage with guests to promote menu items and make drink recommendations
- Assist co-workers and contribute to a team-oriented environment
- Adhere to safety and security policies and procedures
