Job Description
Our client operates residential property offices located in Queens, New York, providing essential property management and administrative support to building residents. These offices are dedicated to maintaining high standards of service and ensuring that tenants receive timely and courteous assistance. The properties under management benefit from organized administration, prompt communication, and a friendly staff committed to upholding the quality and comfort of the residences.
We are currently seeking a friendly, organized, and reliable Temporary Administrative Receptionist to join the team for the summer season. This position supports the residential property offices across two Queens locations: Rego Park and Bayside. The role is ideal for individuals who are flexible in working across one or both locations throughout the week. The position offers a part-time schedule with specific days assigned to each location and competitive pay ranging from $17.00 to $19.25 per hour.
The Temporary Administrative Receptionist will be primarily responsible for welcoming residents and visitors, managing inbound phone communications, and performing various administrative duties to ensure smooth operations at the property offices. This includes handling filing, maintaining accurate records, liaising with building staff, and assisting with day-to-day tasks that contribute to exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a dynamic environment where professionalism, confidentiality, and effective communication are essential.
This summer position runs from June 22 through September 10, with office hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The receptionist will cover either the Rego Park location on Tuesdays and Thursdays or the Bayside location on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Candidates open to working both locations will find this opportunity even more rewarding, as it offers the chance to gain diverse experience within property management administration.
Ideal candidates will possess prior experience in a reception or administrative role, complemented by strong communication and customer service skills. The ability to stay organized, punctuality, and a professional demeanor are crucial for success in this role. Flexibility in working across multiple sites is highly advantageous, enabling the team to provide seamless support to residents and building staff across both Queens properties.
By joining our client’s team as a Temporary Administrative Receptionist, candidates become an integral part of a supportive residential community, contributing to the comfort and satisfaction of tenants. This role offers valuable hands-on experience in property management administration during the busy summer months and provides an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking to enhance their administrative skill set in a friendly and collaborative environment.
