IICA Speech is a dedicated pediatric therapy clinic specializing in speech therapy, occupational therapy, and feeding therapy services. Founded in 2004 by Amy Haught, the company has grown from its beginnings in the South Bay area to now operating multiple clinics in San Jose, California, Roseville, California, and Kalispell/Whitefish, Montana. The clinic focuses on delivering compassionate and specialized care to children requiring therapeutic support to improve their speech, feeding abilities, and overall occupational functioning. This part-time position as a Front Office Receptionist is based in the Roseville, California clinic and involves working afternoons Monday through Thursday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Fridays from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., totaling approximately 24 hours per week. The role is crucial as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, providing a warm and welcoming environment that reflects the values of IICA Speech. Responsibilities include greeting visitors, managing client sign-in sheets, answering phone inquiries, scheduling patients, maintaining the reception area, handling filing and scanning tasks, and assisting clinical staff with administrative duties as needed. The position also involves collaborating with other administrative team members across multiple offices to support overall clinic operations. The ideal candidate is expected to have excellent attendance, strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, basic proficiency in Microsoft Office software, and the ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality. Job Duties

  • Greeting people entering the building, answering any questions, providing directions, and alerting staff when someone is there to meet or visit them
  • Manage client sign-in sheets
  • Serve as the face of the company, offering friendly service to those entering the building or calling in on the phone
  • Maintain the reception area, keeping it clean and free of clutter
  • Handle filing and scanning as requested
  • Scheduling patients as needed or requested
  • Assist clinical staff with admin duties as needed
  • Closing clinic duties
  • Collaborate and support admin team in other offices, must be computer savvy
