Job Description

Bobby Jones Links, established in 2000 and headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, is a distinguished club management and development company specializing in private, resort, daily fee, and public golf courses across the United States. Known for its commitment to exceptional service, Bobby Jones Links prides itself on creating memorable experiences for members, guests, and staff alike. The company upholds core values such as Make People Happy, Do What You Say, Strive for Excellence, Be Driven, and Grow Every Day, which collectively foster a culture of dedication, integrity, and continuous improvement. Inspired by the words of Bobby Jones, "The secret of golf is to turn three shots into two," the organization embodies this pursuit of excellence in its operations and customer service.

Managed by Bobby Jones Links, Woodlake Country Club in Vass, North Carolina, stands as a premier gated community offering a peaceful retreat near vibrant districts like Pinehurst, Southern Pines, Fort Bragg, Pope Air Force Base, and Fayetteville. This exclusive club is renowned for its stunning views of a 1,200-acre private lake, a historic clubhouse, and two championship golf courses, making it a coveted destination in the North Carolina Sandhills region for over five decades. Woodlake Country Club offers residents and visitors an inviting ambiance, combining natural beauty with top-tier amenities and a welcoming social atmosphere.

The Food & Beverage Front of House Supervisor at Woodlake Country Club is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing the daily front-of-house operations to ensure members and guests receive unparalleled service aligned with club standards. This supervisory position involves managing servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff with a focus on teamwork, accountability, and maintaining the highest service quality. The supervisor acts as the essential link between the dining room and kitchen, facilitating seamless communication and consistent service delivery.

This role demands comprehensive leadership to supervise dining, bar, patio, banquet events, the golf course halfway house, and pool food and beverage services. The supervisor will uphold professionalism in appearance and attitude, coach and develop team members, enforce club policies, and resolve member concerns promptly. Scheduling responsibilities include preparing and adjusting weekly staff schedules, managing labor costs, and ensuring adequate staffing for all club activities and events.

Equally important is the management of beverage inventory, ordering, and cost control, alongside conducting regular inventories and compliance with health and safety standards. The supervisor assists in financial administration, including vendor invoice processing, menu implementation, and expense monitoring. Daily operational oversight such as pre-shift briefings, service expectation reviews, quality monitoring, and cleanliness maintenance are key components of the role.

The role extends to enhancing the overall member experience by fostering positive relationships and a welcoming environment, supporting club events and functions, and ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations including ABC alcohol laws and ServSafe standards. The position requires a hands-on leader capable of multitasking in a dynamic environment while maintaining a polished professional demeanor.

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of three years of food and beverage supervisory experience with a preference for private club or upscale restaurant backgrounds. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills, familiarity with POS and club management software, and the ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays, are essential. Physical stamina to perform job duties involving standing, walking, lifting, and operating both indoor and outdoor service areas is also required.

Joining Woodlake Country Club means becoming part of a respected community and a company that values excellence and personal growth. The Front of House Supervisor role offers an exciting opportunity to lead in a distinguished environment known for its natural beauty, exceptional amenities, and commitment to superior service.
