Job Description
We are a dynamic and fast-paced restaurant committed to providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Our establishment prides itself on a warm, inviting atmosphere coupled with high-quality food and beverage offerings. Dedicated to maintaining superior service standards, we emphasize the development and ongoing support of our team members to ensure both guest and staff satisfaction. Our Front of House is the heartbeat of the restaurant, and we invest deeply in the success of this department to uphold the vibrant and professional energy expected by our clientele.
The role of Front of House Manager is pivotal within our operational framework. This full-time position requires a minimum commitment of 45 hours per week and offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader who is ready to take charge of front-of-house operations including the bar and coffeehouse departments. The Front of House Manager not only oversees the day-to-day productivity and efficiency of the team but also plays a critical role in hiring, training, motivating, and developing staff to foster a cohesive work environment that drives sales and guest satisfaction.
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting the tone for the team, maintaining outstanding staff morale, and ensuring that service delivery aligns with our company standards. This includes ensuring compliance with all food safety and certification requirements, such as maintaining current Food Worker and TAM/TIPS cards among team members. The Front of House Manager will be an excellent communicator, capable of managing confidential information discreetly, and poised to make rational decisions under pressure with sound judgment.
Daily responsibilities are broad and involve leading by example on the floor, monitoring guest interactions, supervising opening and closing routines, managing labor budgets, and ensuring operational tasks such as scheduling and side work are executed efficiently. Maintaining a positive and proactive presence to resolve guest issues and initiate improvements is vital. This leadership position requires knowledge of menu specifics, ingredients, allergens, POS system troubleshooting, and maintaining customer satisfaction standards.
Candidates must demonstrate adaptability, professionalism, and a strong time management skill set to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. They must also show a willingness to learn and grow, being receptive to coaching and feedback. Importantly, applicants must be at least 21 years old, have solid communication abilities in English, basic mathematical skills for cash handling, and familiarity with Google Drive and internet navigation.
This is an exempt position reporting directly to the General Manager. We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to diversity and inclusion. Our goal is to maintain a restaurant environment where all employees can thrive and contribute to the success of our brand and guest experiences. Join us in a leadership role that offers challenge, growth, and the chance to drive the operational success and customer delight of our front-of-house team.
