Job Description

Hopdoddy Burger Bar is a renowned fast-casual restaurant chain that has established itself as a leader in the gourmet burger scene. Known for its commitment to quality, fresh ingredients, and innovative menu offerings, Hopdoddy has set a high standard for the dining experience. The company boasts over 40 locations across Texas, Arizona, California, Colorado, and Tennessee, with plans for continued expansion. With accolades such as being named #1 on "The 50 Best Burger Joints in America" by Business Insider and recognition from Food & Wine and Thrillist, Hopdoddy has earned a reputation not just for exceptional food but also for its vibrant and authentic hospitality culture.

Hopdoddy Burger Bar is more than just a place to eat; it is a community-focused organization that balances serious commitment to service with a fun, inclusive workplace atmosphere. The culture at Hopdoddy supports growth and development, offering opportunities for team members to advance through programs such as the Lead Manager track, where over half of the restaurant leaders started as hourly employees. They emphasize an environment that respects individuality while maintaining high standards of service and quality.

The Front of House (FOH) Team Member role at Hopdoddy is a critical position within the Hospitality Team. FOH Team Members are responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience from the moment guests arrive until they leave. This includes greeting guests warmly, assisting with orders, serving food and drinks efficiently, and anticipating guest needs to ensure complete satisfaction. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment is also an essential part of the role.

This position offers a competitive compensation package that starts at a take-home pay of $30,000 or more annually for full-time employees, along with health, vision, and dental benefits available to full-timers. Other perks include paid vacation, parental leave, anniversary awards, a free 24/7 Employee Assistance Program (EAP) providing financial coaching, wellness counseling, identity protection, and legal services among others. Flexible scheduling allows team members to balance work with personal pursuits such as college or family time. Additionally, employees enjoy a 50% discount on food to share with friends and family.

Working as a FOH Team Member at Hopdoddy means joining a passionate team that values positive energy, humor, and a genuine heart for hospitality. The company values individuals who are team players and uphold quality, standards, and safety with enthusiasm. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed with a dress code that embraces casual attire like t-shirts and jeans.

By joining Hopdoddy, employees not only become part of a successful and growing restaurant group but also contribute to meaningful social responsibility efforts through the Goodnight Good Cause program, which has donated over a million dollars to various community initiatives to date. Hopdoddy is committed to equal opportunity employment, ensuring a diverse workplace where all applicants are considered regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran, or disability status.
