We are currently seeking a diligent and customer-oriented Front-End Cashier to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience for every shopper, acting as both a service ambassador and a transactional expert. The ideal candidate will be committed to excellence in customer service, capable of handling sales transactions accurately, and eager to contribute to the store's overall operation by supporting various retail functions. This position offers an hourly wage starting at $18.00 and requires in-person availability, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.

The Front-End Cashier will operate POS (Point of Sale) systems to efficiently process purchases, returns, and exchanges, maintaining accuracy with cash drawer management and register balancing. In addition to cashier duties, this role involves stocking and rotating products, assisting with bagging, and performing essential math calculations necessary for daily operations. Our ideal team member is proficient in retail systems and possesses strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities to effectively engage with our diverse clientele.

This position requires physical stamina, as it involves standing for extended periods, reaching, walking, climbing, balancing, kneeling, and occasionally lifting up to 30 pounds. The successful candidate must also be comfortable working under various conditions, including exposure to wet, dry, hot, and humid environments, as well as handling different cleaning agents and a variety of food products such as meats, seafood, nuts, soy, and other animal products.
