Job Duties

  • Answer phones
  • take messages and route to appropriate personnel
  • Unlock front door and receptionist window at required times
  • Greet patients
  • verify insurance information and collect any fees due before patient is seen by a provider
  • Check patient in and out on computer system including verification of insurance and demographic information
  • Process office visit charges and patient payment transactions in a timely manner according to policy
  • Complete End-Of-Day reports and reconcile patient accounts with Site leader
  • Prepare for next day's appointments including reviewing schedule accuracy and confirming insurance status
  • Manage new patient requests and set-up new patient packets and charts
  • Maintain computer chart accuracy and update information promptly
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of front desk and office supply cabinet
