With a strong commitment to innovation and quality, Varex Imaging supports healthcare providers worldwide by providing critical imaging components used in medical diagnostics. The company operates as a technology-driven manufacturing enterprise, employing advanced technologies to produce high-precision components for medical and industrial imaging equipment. Known for its dedication to employee well-being, continuous growth, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment, Varex Imaging fosters a culture of respect, inclusion, and professional development for its workforce.

This full-time role is specifically for the position of Front Desk/Control Room Specialist, based on the third shift with a schedule from Monday to Wednesday, midnight to noon, and every other Thursday from midnight to noon as well. The position is hourly paid and classified as regular employment. As a Front Desk/Control Room Specialist, you will be the initial point of contact for employees, vendors, and guests entering the facility, representing Varex Imaging's commitment to superior customer service and operational security.

The Front Desk/Control Room Specialist plays a pivotal role in managing the security communications and electronic system functions at the company's premises. This role requires exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail as you will maintain a professional and welcoming atmosphere in the lobby area, controlling visitor access, and ensuring the security protocols are strictly followed. The specialist will be responsible for greeting and assisting all building visitors, issuing visitor badges, logging their entry and exit, and responding to general inquiries about the facility. Cooperation with the human resources and maintenance departments is a key part of the job, as well as reporting any building issues, incidents, or safety concerns promptly.

Security monitoring and emergency response coordination also fall under the scope of this position. The specialist must monitor the building carefully to prevent unauthorized access and be prepared to support evacuation and emergency procedures as necessary. The role demands alertness and the ability to concentrate during the 12-hour shifts, with occasional requirements to lift or move items up to 25 pounds and perform reaching tasks both above and below shoulder level.

This position suits candidates who are courteous, approachable, and committed to providing high-quality service and safety compliance in a dynamic work environment. Varex Imaging offers a supportive working atmosphere, flexible schedules, competitive pay, and numerous benefits that prioritize the physical, emotional, and financial wellness of its employees. With access to on-site amenities such as a cafeteria, nurse, gym, and credit union, coupled with career advancement opportunities, this role is ideal for individuals looking to grow professionally within a reputable and forward-thinking company.
