Currently, The Shores Resort and Spa is seeking a dedicated and motivated Front Desk Supervisor to join its Front Desk team. This full-time role offers a salary of $18.00 per hour and is ideal for a professional with a passion for exceptional customer service and leadership within a world-class hospitality environment. The Front Desk Supervisor will play a pivotal role in maintaining the hotel's reputation for outstanding guest experiences by leading by example, supporting team members, and engaging with guests from around the world.

Responsibilities include managing front desk operations, ensuring guests receive top-tier service, handling check-ins and special requests efficiently, and resolving guest concerns with a focus on positive recovery experiences. The role requires close collaboration with maintenance and housekeeping teams to coordinate daily activities and maintain smooth hotel operations. The Front Desk Supervisor will also be responsible for training new front desk agents, overseeing the inventory and ordering for the Sundries shop, promoting hotel programs, and maintaining compliance with all established procedures related to financial transactions and safety protocols.

Job Duties

  • Help guests discover their wanderlust experience
  • Provide exceptional customer service by being engaging and taking sincere interest
  • Check guests in, ensuring proper credit is received, special requests are noted and fulfilled, and accurate information is established
  • Help to resolve problems and wow guests through recovery when things aren’t quite right
  • Supervise daily shift process ensuring all team members adhere to standard operating procedures
  • Conduct pre-assignment of hotel rooms, including VIPs, repeat guests, packages, and special requests
  • Work closely with maintenance and housekeeping teams to communicate and coordinate the day
  • Train, direct, resolve issues, coach and counsel front desk team members to ensure quality operation
  • Maintain the Sundries shop, keeping up with inventory and ordering as necessary
  • Train all new Front Desk Agents to provide exceptional customer service
  • Promote and sell special hotel programs
  • Interact professionally with hotel/resort staff assisting other departments with necessary information
  • Be knowledgeable of all emergency procedures and policies
  • Maintain house bank
  • Communicate all pertinent information to manager on duty
  • Follow set procedures on posting, charges, cashing checks, safe deposits, and refunds
  • Assist other departments as needed
