Job Description

Gold's Gym is a leading global fitness brand known for its commitment to empowering members by redefining strength in every aspect of health and wellness. Founded with the mission to support fitness enthusiasts at all levels, Gold's Gym has expanded into a comprehensive network of locations that offer state-of-the-art equipment, diverse workout programs, and expert-led training to ensure members achieve their personal fitness goals. The company prides itself not only on its premium fitness facilities but also on fostering an energetic, professional, and supportive environment for both members and staff. With a heritage rooted in strength training and a passion for community-building, Gold's Gym continues to innovate and inspire individuals to lead healthier lives.

The Front Desk Supervisor role at Gold's Gym is a pivotal position within the fitness facility's leadership team. As the leader of all front desk operations, this role requires a dynamic individual who can ensure an outstanding member experience while driving revenue growth through retail sales, supplements, and personal training lead generation. The position involves a blend of hands-on leadership, operational management, staff accountability, and performance monitoring to maintain an efficient and welcoming front desk environment.

The Front Desk Supervisor sets the tone for customer service excellence and team culture by leading through example. Responsibilities include overseeing smooth check-in processes, managing front desk and Kids Club staffing and scheduling, and upholding facility cleanliness and presentation standards. Moreover, the supervisor plays an essential role in sales performance by coaching the front desk team on supplement and retail sales strategies and ensuring consistent execution of promotions.

Closely collaborating with the Fitness Manager and General Manager, the supervisor supports revenue goals through active engagement in personal training lead generation and maintaining strong, communicative relationships across departments. Effective inventory management ensures that retail and supplement stock levels are adequate, well-organized, and accounted for, minimizing shrinkage and maintaining professional product displays.

The position also involves overseeing the Kids Club operations to promote a safe and positive environment for families, addressing any concerns professionally, and ensuring compliance and cleanliness are always met. The role is integral to sustaining high operational standards with regular execution of cleaning tasks, laundry maintenance, and the communication of maintenance issues to uphold the overall facility experience.

This is a full-time position with a schedule primarily Monday through Thursday and a rotating Friday or Saturday shift. Compensation includes a comprehensive benefits package featuring medical benefits, 401k, paid holidays and vacation pay, free Gold's Gym membership, employee discounts, commissions, bonuses, and educational support such as free education and certifications credits. However, relocation assistance is not provided.

Joining Gold's Gym as a Front Desk Supervisor offers a rewarding career opportunity for individuals passionate about fitness, leadership, and creating exceptional experiences for members while contributing to the growth and success of a renowned fitness brand.
