We are currently seeking a Receptionist to join our America's Best team. This role is vital as you will be the first point of contact for our customers, greeting and welcoming them warmly as they enter the store. The Receptionist position is central to the smooth operation of the store, helping manage patient records, scheduling, and facilitating the flow of appointments to ensure an efficient and enjoyable customer experience. Your friendly demeanor and efficient handling of inquiries by phone or in person will help make every visit to America's Best positive and productive.
The Receptionist is responsible for ensuring high-quality customer service while strictly adhering to safety protocols, maintaining order in the reception area, and supporting the operations team by keeping patient records organized and up to date. You will be expected to process insurance information accurately, schedule and confirm appointments, and keep customers informed about their order status. This role demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple phone lines professionally.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience handling multiple phone lines preferred
- Strong customer service skills required
- Strong organizational skills required
- Experience as a receptionist, front office representative or similar role preferred but not required
- 0-2 years related experience or training preferred

Job Duties
- Ensures high quality customer service while following all safety protocols
- Ensures a smooth flow of customers through the store
- Answers, screens, and forwards incoming phone calls in accordance with National Vision protocol
- Processes and understands managed care plans while obtaining document information from the insurance company as needed
- Provides customers basic and accurate information
- Schedules and confirms appointments, follow-up visits and classes
- Files all patient records daily and pulls patient files for the next day's appointments
- Checks order status and notifies customers when orders are in or of any delays
- Keeps reception area tidy and presentable with all necessary materials
- Receives, sorts, distributes daily mail/deliveries and maintains inventory of office supplies
- Participates in regularly scheduled mandatory communication meetings
